How to Get an EMS Server

1. Go to https://ems.element.io/user/hosting#/hosts or visit https://element.io thenand click Signthe In“Register” ->link Admin Dashboard frombelow the top-right.sign-in button.

2. Fill in your details and click the Register button. Note: Your password must be at least 12 characters long.

3. Look in your inbox for your verification email. (If it doesn’t appear after a couple of minutes - check your spam!) Click the link in the email to verify your email address.

4. You will be automatically redirected to the EMS Hosting site. Before proceeding any further, agree to our terms and conditions.

5. Click Sign“Set up ora Signhost in
   now” to start setting up your first EMS server

6. EnterChoose your emailhost address
   size and click Continue.

7. Click the confirmation link in the email
   

8. Enter your name or company name andChoose a password on https://ems.element.io/user/account. Then click Billing address and payment method
   

9. Enter your billing address and credit card information on https://ems.element.io/user/billing
   

10. Click Your Account, then Manage Servers to get started setting up your EMS server

11. Click the Setup tab, and choose your Host Size
    

12. Select your hostname and click Check.“Check” Keepto incheck mind that this cannot be changed later
    availability.

13. Configure your hostnew settings, then click Next. If you want to use Custom DNS (ie. have your usernames be @someone:yourdomain.com instead of @someone:yourhost.ems.host and have your Element client on your own domain), seehost. EMS Server With Custom Domain
    

14. ConfirmSet up your payment options.card. Then

15. Check your payment information and click Purchase to build the host.

16. Sit tight for a few minutes while your server is being built

17. WhenOnce it'syour done,host is ready, click Manage hosts to configure additional settings and add users
    users.
